Something I really love about this: how free are the free, either, when they are bounded upon that precipice? I mean, they certainly enjoy an "elevated" position and probably a whole host of privileges—things that have real consequences for a life—, but they are deluded, too, in their sense of what freedom means. I like the way "the free" are all rather cookie cutter and herded together in a counter-intuitive confined space. It adds to the effect.
