So I finally came up with a design I like for the cover of SADBOOK: VOLUME 2

To go with the vibes of the first book I wanted it to still feel a little bit like a woodblock print. I also wanted to use another vhs gradient, so I found one I liked from vaultofvhs & used that as the initial color palette—then I painted in the clouds, cleaned up the edges of my drawing (expanded the bridge a little further than in in my black & white comic) & added more noise. Finally I added the details in turquoise to the waves & clouds!
