I published a book once. I think it's fair to say that I truly love writing, and also equally true to say that I truly hate the publishing process. All of it.

Oh yes. I ended up on the metaphorical floor more times than I'd care to remember.
It was also 2020, so I might be conflating some other negative things that were going on around that time, but honestly it just kind of sucked.
